Here’s how it works.

1. These are beginner courses for adults.

2. Each course consists of 6 sessions with an instructor.

3. You start on land getting the basics on a rowing machine then in a rowing tank.

4. Next step is into a boat - a nice, kindly, wide, stable training boat.

5. Finally into a racing shell supported by experienced rowers.

6. For this, you give us money - currently Ł50. If you decide to join the club, this will be deducted from your first annual subscription.

7. Before you can start this YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM - 50m without touching down.

Courses are now over for 2009.
