Experienced Rowers

Recreational or competitive? It don't matter to us. We're happy to have you on board.

Most of our on-water activity consists of crew-boat sculling - for a whole variety of reasons. However, if you prefer sweep rowing there is no problem about that. All you need is another one, three or seven like-minded pals. The facility is there. After all the National Rowing Academy's boat fleet is always available for our use.

At the weekends our competitive members go on the water for their first training outing at 08:00 (or first light in winter). At 10:00 we see what members have arrived and sort out crews for the main club session which lasts until around 11:30.

From April to September we take advantage of the long Scottish evenings to get out on the water midweek.

For information on membership and charges click on the Membership link.
